The Resource Center actively works in close association and stable partnership with the different organizations and groups performing work with elderly people. Today the Resource Center is a coordinating organization of the International network «AgeNet International – Central Asia without borders» that consist of 44 gerontological organizations from 8 countries: Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

The Mission of the «AgeNet International» is to promote increasing of the responsibility of Government and civil society in older generation people status improving in the Commonwealth countries.

The Network is performing the following activities:

• Monitoring of older generation status;
• Network members capacity building;
• Development of the strategy on improving of older generation status in intersectoral partnership;
• Development and implementation of mechanisms of provision of equal access to the social services;
• Development of principles of the Madrid Plan in the Commonwealth countries;
• Open and use of capacity of older people for realization of goals of the Network;

Annually the «AgeNet International» conducts the number of activities on elderly people support:

- yearly action “From Heart to Heart”, in the course of what there are held various charity auctions, trade fairs, concerts and other actions on fund raising to support elderly people.

- as a special attention serves the development of culture of philanthropy in society: by November 2009 there was held 1st International conference in the Kyrgyz Republic “Prerequisites of origination and development of culture of philanthropy in the Kyrgyz Republic”.

The Resource Center actively collaborates with republic and un-republican mass-media thanks to which civil society and representatives of government and business structures are familiar with the Organization activity. 

The Resource Center is the member of the Kyrgyzstan civil society Leader Club. HelpAge International, ADRA Kyrgyzstan, Pact, Diabetes Association of Kyrgyzstan, Network members in Commonwealth countries and many others are the important partners of the Resource Center in activities on qualified improvement of the elderly people status.

Participation in Platform for Access to Base Services, issues on lobbying of access of elderly people to base social services is the one of priority tasks of the organization and serves as the base for development of common advocacy plans with the affiliated and related organizations.
