Federation of Self Help Groups of elderly persons № 4 «Talas» is located in Talas city, Talas oblast.
Activity of the federation is carried out on the following directions:
- Support of Elderly Persons Self Help Groups and distribution of their experience;
- Creation and development of the network of Elderly Persons Self Help Groups;
- Creation and implementation of the projects on social protection of elderly persons, putting proposals on perfection of legislation in the area of elderly persons’ rights and interests protection;
- Activation of elderly persons through their involvement into small-scale business and entrepreneurship, involvement in socially useful work;
- Lobbying and promotion of rights, interests of elderly persons and Self Help Groups;
- Organization and conducting of conferences, round tables and practical workshops-training on self-growth and realization of creative and civil capacity of older generation;
- Advocacy of activity of FSHG «Talas» through interaction with mass media;
- Creation and development of volunteer teams;
- Conducting of charity and social actions.
